Attended a split system that wasn't cooling, serviced the unit and confirmed it was running again.

Checked the indoor and outdoor units, cleaned the filters and cleared the outdoor coil of leaf debris. Cleared the condensate drain, then ran the system and confirmed cool air at the indoor unit before leaving.

Findings

Filters were heavily clogged and the outdoor coil was blocked with garden debris, restricting airflow. Condensate drain was partly blocked. No refrigerant work was carried out on this visit.

Questions we get asked

Will it record refrigerant amounts or pressures?
Only if you say them, and then only as your own words. JobProof never generates figures, model numbers or readings of its own, and it doesn't replace any logbook you're required to keep.
Can I use it for scheduled maintenance as well as breakdowns?
Yes. Each visit becomes its own report, which is what makes the site history useful. There's also a free maintenance report template you can download.
Does it work with no signal in a plant room?
The web app needs a connection to generate a report. Take your photos and notes, then generate once you're back in range.
